How do I schedule an appointment?  Use instant online reservation system 24 X 7 or call (312) 363-8714
What are your rates? We charge by the hour. Our prices start from $21.49 per maid, per hour.
What’s included in the price? All needed cleaning products, tools, insurance, transportation (including gas cost) and all taxes are part of pricing.
What are the appointment times? We schedule appointments every half hour between 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Do you arrive promptly? We ask for a thirty minutes arrival window for early morning appointments and one hour for those scheduled after 9:00 am. Two hours arrival window needed for bi-weekly, weekly, tri-weekly appointments.
What are your payment arrangements? Cash and checks are accepted. If no payment is left for the maids to pick up, the credit card on file will be charged.
What about cancellations? We have 36 hours cancellation/rescheduling policy. To cancel please call (312) 363-8714 or send e-mail to cleaning@accessmaids.com or login to your account to cancel/reschedule on-line.
How far in advance do I need to schedule an appointment? Sometimes same day service is available, but other times we are booked solid for three days in advance.
What are your office hours? We are open Monday thru Saturday 7:30 am- 7:00 pm. Instant on-line reservations are accepted 24/7.
Does someone always have to be home while cleaning? If you will not be home, please call to provide the information required to obtain access. We will require a note granting us permission to be left with the management office. You can either mail us the keys or tell us where the hiding spot is, provide us with the access code or tell the concierge to give us access. We can also notify you thirty minutes prior to arrival.
Am I required to provide any cleaning supplies? No. AccessMaids crew arrives fully equipped with our own supplies and equipment (vacuum cleaner, rags, etc.)
How many people do you send to my home? Normally, we send a crew of 2 uniformed maids, including a crew leader. Occasionally three person team or one maid will come due to personnel illness, training purposes or for a particularly large jobs.
Can I add or remove any of additional cleaning tasks after I placed the order? Yes, but please let us know at least a day before your scheduled appointment.
When do you charge my credit card and how can I get the receipt? Our crew leader will leave the invoice on the kitchen countertop stating the time spent cleaning. Management receives a copy of the invoice within 24 hours after the job has been performed. Your credit card will be charged within few days. To request a receipt, please send us an e-mail with your name, address and date of service.
Will I get the same team every time? We try very hard to have the same personnel to your home every time. Per your request we will send the same crew if you offer us arrival flexibility (7:30 am - 3:30 pm). Occasionally, due to illness or the like, an alternate team or maid will have to be substituted.
How do I access to the online reservation system? If you reserved an appointment via the telephone and are seeking to reschedule or cancel, change payment details or request optional cleaning tasks, then please e-mail your name and address. Put LOGIN REQUEST in the subject line. We will then send you a user name and password, enabling online access to your account.
What if I forget I have a cleaning appointment? We charge for missed appointments that are not canceled in advance.
Will you remind me about my appointment? If you provide us with your e-mail address, we will send you our friendly reminder two days before your service day. We do offer a courtesy call service on the day of cleaning (per your request).
Does your crew require a parking space? No. We’ll drop-off/pick up our personnel upon the job completion.
What don't you do? Our employees do not climb higher than a step stool, wash walls routinely, move furniture that contains electronics, lift any objects over 20 pounds, prepare meals, iron, or provide any children-related services.
What if I have a security system? Our cleaning professionals are trained to deal with many types of alarms and security systems. We recommend you provide us with a code that you can change after we leave.
What type of training do your workers receive? Our management team and maids are constantly trained in proper cleaning techniques, use of different cleaning products, proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment, use of alarm systems, workplace safety, map-reading skills, organizational and time management skills, knowledge of our company's policies, and communication skills with the clients, team members, pets & the company.
What if I am unhappy with the service I receive? Then call us. We will gladly listen to your complaints. We will do everything we can to rectify the problem. Should an area of your home or office not be cleaned to satisfaction, we will quickly return to clean it free.
