By using, AccessMaids.com web site or ordering services over the phone, fax, email you accept and agree to be bound by this Customer Service Agreement.
1. AccessMaids' obligations
A. Subject to the terms of this Agreement, AccessMaids Inc agrees to provide cleaning services (the "Service") to the Customer at an address specified by the Customer (the "Premises").
B. The Service will be for cleaning duties at the time of reservation (telephone or internet).
C. AccessMaids will dispatch the cleaners to attend the Premises to provide the Service at a time and date mutually agreed between AccessMaids Inc and the Customer (the "Service Time").
D. AccessMaids endeavors to provide the Service faithfully, diligently and in a timely and professional manner.
2. Customer obligations
A. Provide a safe working environment at the Premises for the Cleaners to perform the Service;
B. Provide unencumbered and unobstructed access to those areas of the Premises requiring the Service;
C. Provide the Cleaners with access to all utilities including hot, cold water and electricity;
D. Advise AccessMaids Inc prior to the commencement of the Service of any hazards, risks or dangers, ingrained dirt at the Premises.
E. Remove any fragile, delicate, breakable or valuable items, including cash, jewelry, works of art, antiques or items of sentimental value prior to the commencement of the Service.
F. Notify AccessMaids' office if there are any faulty installed doors, windows, shelving, mirrors, cabinets which may fall upon contact.
3. Website access
A. In order to access some features of the Website, you agree to create an account and to be responsible for the activity that occurs on your account.
B. You agree to notify AccessMaids Inc immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
C. You agree the information you have provided is current, accurate, truthful and complete.
D. You agree to notify AccessMaids of any change to the account-related information 36 hours before the appointment.
A. You agree to receive email or text message confirmations and alerts which are active by default as part of the service.
B. You agree that any alerts provided to you may be delayed by a variety of factors, such as hosting company or email server delays.
C. You agree that AccessMaids Inc shall not be liable for any delays, failure to deliver, or misdirected delivery of any confirmation or alert; for any errors in the content of a confirmation or alert.
5. Cleaning estimates
A. You agree that the actual price payable is calculated on the total number of hours worked by the Cleaners.
B. Any price estimates is based on AccessMaids' prior experience, without inspection, and based on information provided by the Customer.
C. If at the commencement or during the course of providing the Service, it is apparent that the actual cost of the Service will exceed the quote provided by AccessMaids Inc, AccessMaids will provide the Customer with the option to pay an increased fee to complete the Service or pay the quoted amount without the Service being completed.
A. The Customer agrees to provide AccessMaids Inc with their valid credit/ debit card details at the time of reservation and authorizes to debit any card with an amount equal to any service and/ or cancellation fees that may apply under this Agreement.
B. AccessMaids reserves the right not to accept a reservation for any reason. In that case AccessMaids will notify the Customer about declined reservation within 90 minutes during business hours.
7. Payment terms
A. The Customer agrees to pay AccessMaids Inc in full when the Service is complete, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
B. You authorize to charge the credit card on file if no cash or check payment received.
8. Late payment fee
A. Where AccessMaids Inc has agreed to invoice the Customer for payment of fees after the Service has been completed, the Customer agrees to pay in full, all fees due, within 10 days of the invoice date.
B. The Customer agrees that if AccessMaids Inc has not received payment in full for the Service within one calendar month of the original invoice date to pay $35 late payment fee.
C. In addition to the amounts set out above, the Customer agrees to reimburse AccessMaids Inc for all legal costs (on a solicitor and own client or full indemnity basis, whichever is greater) and other expenses incurred by AccessMaids Inc in connection with a demand, action, or other proceeding (including mediation, out of court settlement or any action taken for recovery of debt from the Customer) arising out of a breach of these terms including the failure by the Customer to pay an amount by the due date.
A. You agree to inform AccessMaids Inc within 48 hours if you are dissatisfied for any reason with the Service provided.
B. You agree to choose one of the next 3 available days for a free re cleaning.
10. Minimum order policy
A. You agree that the minimum order policy for Basic and Spring cleaning is 1 hour 30 minutes for 2 maids crew (equal to 3 man-hours). For Regular recurring appointments, Studio Basic Special, Carpet Shampooing, Building Common Areas cleaning minimum is 1 hour 30 minutes for 2 person crew (equal to 3 man hours). For Move in/out cleaning minimum order is 2 hours 15 minutes/ 2 maids crew (equal to 4.5 man hours). Super Spring Cleaning minimum order is 2 maids/ 2 hours (equal to 4 man hours). Minimum for Post Renovation Cleaning is 3 hours for 2 maids or 2 hours for 3 person crew (equal to 6 man hours).
A. You agree that due to personnel illness or vacations AccessMaids Inc reserves the right so send on or three maids crew. In 95% cases we will dispatch 2 person crew.
A. The Customer agrees to provide AccessMaids with at least 24 hours notice prior to the Service Time to suspend, postpone or cancel the Service for any reason.
B. In the event that the Customer does not provide 24 hours notice prior to reservation, the Customer agrees to reimburse the reserved time cost.
13. Fee for non-access to premises
A. In the event that the Customer does not provide access the Premises for Cleaners to provide the Service, the Customer agrees to reimburse the reserved time cost.
14. Arrival times
A. Customer agrees there is 30 minutes arrival window for 7:45am appointments, 60 minutes for reservations from 9am, 2 hours starting from 2pm, 2 hours for recurring appointments.
A. Customer agrees all estimates are ballpark and the actual cleaning time may vary.
Flat rates are offered for carpet cleaning, studio basic cleaning, building common areas, regular appointments (per agreement).
16. Start/ Finish Times
A. Customer agrees the arrival time starts from the minute the cleaning crew enters your building. All completion times are rounded to the nearest 15 minutes.
17. Laundry service
A. Customer agrees all items for dry cleaning will be put away and are not mixed with clothes for regular wash, or stored nearby in an unmarked bag/ hamper that might be confused with clothes for washing.
B. Customer agrees to either collect and sort the wash or provide AccessMaids office with specific instructions if any. Mark/ separate items that should not be placed in the dryer and instruct where to place/hang them.
C. Customer agrees to leave enough laundry detergent, bleach, softener, laundry card or cash to load on the card if needed or sufficient amount of quarters. Also, to inform of laundry room location and any special regulations.
18. Recurring service pricing
A. Customer agrees that regular appointment rates will be effective starting from the second recurring cleaning.
B. We reserve the right to increase recurring service rate up to 5% a year to cover rising labor and fuel costs.
19. Pets policy
A. Customer agrees to securely lock pets in one of the rooms or have them out of the house on the service day. If a cleaning crew comes to your home and your dog acts aggressively and is not locked up, AccessMaids keeps the right to refuse the service. Appointment cancellation fee may be applied.
20. Intellectual property rights
A. The content on the AccessMaids' Web-site, except all User Submissions, including without limitation, the text, software, scripts, graphics, photos, sounds, music, videos, interactive features are owned by or licensed to AccessMaids', subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights under United States and foreign laws and international conventions.
B. Content on the Web-site is provided to you as is for your information and personal use only and may not be used, copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, broadcast, displayed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any other purposes whatsoever without the prior written consent of the respective owners.
21. Exclusions and limitations
Tasks not included:
Moving heavy items, outdoor work, polishing hardwood floors, removal of pets and bodily fluids, mold or infestation removal, deep stain removal, wet-wiping light bulbs (risk of breakage is too high), clean chandeliers, balconies, decks, backyards, and exterior windows or cleaning of areas outside of normal reach or areas above the reach of our 3-foot step ladder.
AccessMaids Inc is not responsible for:
A. Existing dirt, wear, damage or stains that can not be completely cleaned or removed.
B. Any wear or discoloring of fabric or surfaces becoming more visible once dirt has been removed.
C. The cost of any key replacement or locksmith fees, unless keys were lost by AccessMaids Inc.
The Customer indemnifies AccessMaids Inc against :
A. All losses or liabilities arising directly or indirectly as a result of the provision of the Service including all losses or liabilities caused as a result of a breach of the warranties of the Customer set out in clause 2; and
2. All legal costs (on a solicitor and own client or full indemnity basis, whichever is greater) and other expenses incurred by AccessMaids Inc in connection with a demand, action, arbitration or other proceeding (including mediation, compromise, out of court settlement or appeal and including any action taken for the recovery of a debt from the Customer).
23. Changes to this agreement
A. AccessMaids Inc reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice, and may do so by publishing an updated agreement on its website. Each updated agreement will take effect 24 hours after it has been published on the website.
B. The Customer agrees that any use of the Service following any such change, whether as a single job or as part of a regular cleaning schedule, constitutes their agreement to follow and be bound by the terms and conditions as changed.
A. This Agreement may be terminated by the Customer by providing at least 36 hours notice prior to the Service Time
